Description

Wong Farmhouse is a 17th-century L-shaped house that was entirely refaced in the 18th century. It is constructed of brick with a pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic. The main wing comprises three bays and features a 20th-century central porch. Windows are 19th-century three-light mullioned and transomed designs, set within later openings. The facade is characterised by a three-course plat band and a saw-tooth and dentilled cornice. A 17th-century axial stack supports four octagonal chimneys, while a gable end stack has two rebuilt octagonal chimneys. Inside, an original winding staircase is located opposite the entrance. The interior retains ogee and nicked chamfer stops. The roof was likely altered in the 18th century.
