Description
Oakland Farmhouse, formerly known as Dealtree Farmhouse, is a house dating from the early 19th century that has been altered in the late 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick stacks on the right side and the ridge. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range. The nearly symmetrical front has a segmental-arched recessed doorway, a timber lintel above a left-hand window, a right-hand shop window, and first-floor 6/6-pane sash windows, with paired windows on the left and a triple casement window with glazing bars on the right. The interior includes stairs leading up from No. 6 High Street, though it has been altered.
