Description
Park Farm Hotel is a farmhouse that has been converted into a hotel, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of gault brick and has a slate roof. The building features a double range with five bays and two storeys, and it has end internal stacks. The principal facade faces north, where the central bay projects forward and is topped with a pediment. The wide eaves are adorned with wooden modillions, and this detail continues along the left return beneath a narrow slate coping. The windows are recessed sashes with glazing bars, and they have entablatures, moulded rendered or stone surrounds, and stone cills. The central doorway is flanked by Tuscan columns and features a parapet, with a double-leaved door that has been renewed. The right return is also made of gault brick, while the rear of the building is in red brick and has four recessed sashes with glazing bars on the first floor, which are topped with flat arches. There are late 20th-century additions and a lean-to at the rear.
