Description

Aldeby War Memorial is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary on St Mary's Road in Aldeby, South Norfolk. It is prominently placed by the churchyard wall and the path leading to the church. The memorial features a wheel-head cross on a plinth with a two-stepped base. The front of the plinth has a smooth face that displays inscriptions in leaded lettering.

The inscription reads: "IN MEMORY OF/ THE MEN OF ALDEBY/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ WHOSE NAMES ARE RECORDED/ IN THE CHURCH/ 1914 – 1918/ AND/ 1939 – 1945."
