Description
Aldeby Hall is an 18th-century country house constructed of colourwashed brick with a hipped roof covered in black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and an H-shaped plan, featuring a symmetrical facade with five bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there is a central doorway adorned with an open pediment supported by fluted pilasters, along with a semi-circular fanlight that has radial glazing bars.
At the rear, the house has a two-storey range with a steeper pitched roof and hipped projections on both the east and west sides. The fenestration includes a mix of casements and sashes with glazing bars, although some 20th-century casements are present in the projecting wings. There are large axial stacks along the ridge line and substantial stacks on the east and west sides of the wings. The north elevation features a double pile design with twin hipped ends, two entrance doors, and 2 and 3-light casements with segmental heads.
