Description

Hillside Cottages are an early to mid-19th century terrace of three cottages located on The Street in Long Stratton. The cottages are built of brick, with No. 1 being stuccoed and No. 2 having a roughcast finish. They have low-pitched roofs covered with black glazed pantiles, and gabled ends. The cottages are two storeys high with three windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, though No. 2 has a modern first-floor casement window with glazing bars and a modern ground-floor bow window with glazing bars. There are panelled doors, with No. 2's door being modern. Two brick chimney stacks are present. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
