Description
Guild House is an early 18th-century building, possibly of earlier origin, with later additions. The original part, facing north, is constructed of stuccoed brick and features a steeply pitched pantile roof with coped gable ends. It has two storeys and an attic, with two tall sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, a ground floor stall sash, and a lean-to, along with one later dormer. To the east, there is an adjoining wing made of flint and brick, which may date from the 17th century or earlier, featuring a rebuilt brick first floor with two horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. This section contains two small cusped niches that are plastered over. There is also a mid to late 19th-century wing to the southwest and west, constructed of red brick with sham timber-framing on the west gable end.
