Description
67 Damgate Street is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from flint and brick, featuring brick dressings, and has a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The south facade has two storeys and is divided into two window bays, sitting on a brick plinth. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows beneath arched brick recessed heads. Above, there are two 2-light arched Gothick windows with Y tracery. The building has a modillion gault brick eaves cornice and a gabled roof. There is an internal gable-end stack to the east made of gault brick. To the north, there is a mid-19th century gabled extension. The east gable features a re-used datestone that reads: RT 1602.
