Description

The windmill is a disused tower mill located on Roughton Old Mill Road, dated 1814 as indicated by the keystone above a window. It is built of brick and has a circular plan with five storeys that taper upwards. The windows and doors are from around 1980 and are set in segmental arched openings. The mill was burned out in 1906.
