Description
Farndon Windmill is a disused windmill dated 1823, as indicated by the datestone above the west door. The structure features a plinth and a dentillated curb, with openings that have segmental heads. The windows are cast iron casements, although the eastern windows have been replaced with smaller 20th-century casements. The windmill has a battered round tower with five stages, and it includes doors on the east and west sides, along with irregularly staggered windows on each floor. The interior contains floors but lacks any machinery. The windmill has undergone mid-19th century and 20th-century alterations.
