Description

The Field Study Centre, originally a primary school, was established in 1838 as an infants school, with additional buildings constructed in 1875 and classrooms for boys and girls added in 1899. The structure is built of flint with yellow brick dressings and features predominantly wood mullion transom casements. It has two gables adorned with roundels and generally forms a U shape in its layout. The roof is tiled.
