Description

The Infants' School is a school building dated 1837, located on Holkham Park Road. It is constructed of flint with gault brick dressings and features a grey corrugated tile roof with red clay crested ridges. The building is one storey high and has four three-light windows with cast iron tracery. There is a large four-light window with two transoms in the west gables. The south wall has a blocked centre doorway with a rectangular hood mould. The eaves are moulded brick. There is a later north wing added in 1882, made of gault and red brick, which includes a central entrance with a semi-circular headed arch. A large central chimney stack with four shafts and moulded caps is present, with a bell mounted between the shafts.
