Description
Nos 11 and 12 on Park Road are a pair of estate cottages built in 1819. They are constructed of gault brick, with red brick at the rear, and feature a hipped pantile roof. The cottages are two storeys high and have a four-bay facade with the entrance door located on the left side. The windows are wooden casements from the early 20th century, and the openings are adorned with skewback brick arches and rectangular brick hood-moulds. A plain brick band runs along the first floor level. There is a central brick chimney stack with a moulded cap and a recessed panel that has a pointed arched head. At the rear, there is a catslide roof with two dormers. The flanking wing walls are made of brick and flint bands, featuring semi-circular headed openings.
