Description

Number 18 on High Street is a building from the late 18th century, constructed in 1793. It is two stories tall and made of red brick, featuring a toothed eaves band. The roof is covered with pantiles and has two casement dormers with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two three-light sash windows, also with glazing bars. The wide shop front, which dates from the mid-19th century, includes flank consoles and a central entrance flanked by pilasters. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 4 to 20 on the same side of the street.
