Description

The walls of the bowling green, located on the east side of High Street, date mainly from the 18th century and are constructed from various materials including brick, flint, and stone. The walls are built up with brick to a height of about 6 feet. The southwest portion features brick with pier buttresses, while the front wall to the south is made of flint and brick.
