Description

Number 6 Oak Street is an early 19th-century building with a later 19th-century wing on the north side. It has a roughcast exterior and is L-shaped in plan. The right side of the building projects and features a steep pantile roof with a parapet gable end facing the street. The building has two storeys, with two sash windows on the first floor, one of which has margin lights. The ground floor includes a projecting Victorian shop front, complete with pilasters and an entablature topped by a heavy cornice. The left side has a projecting gable with one window on the first floor and two sash windows without glazing bars on the ground floor.
