Description
No. 2 Oak Street is a mid-19th century building constructed of grey brick, topped with a black-glazed pantile roof that has a hipped end. The building features a wooden eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall. On the first floor, there are three sash windows without glazing bars, with one window having a splayed corner. The ground floor has a three-light sash window on the left side, while the right side features a large Victorian corner shop, which is adorned with Ionic pilasters and an entablature that has a dentilled cornice. The doorway is located on the splayed corner. This building is included for its group value.
