Description

Two cottages are situated at the north end of a row of four buildings. The cottages, numbers 20 and 21, have one and a half storeys with an attic. Number 21 is at the end of the row. The cottages are constructed of brick with red pantiled roofs, with a flint plinth and a brick end gable. Number 21 features an arched-headed, wooden-framed two-light casement window and a boarded door with a central light. It has a brick eaves cornice and a two-light gabled dormer. A prominent brick stack is located on the north gable. A second, later addition is located at the rear of the property. Number 20 is also constructed of brick with a red pantiled roof. It contains 20th-century insertions of one window and one door. It features a two-light casement dormer under the gable. A brick stack is situated on the north party wall, shared with number 21. Two further cottages in the row, situated to the south, are not of special interest.
