Description

White Horse Farmhouse is a 17th-century house with an 19th-century wing added facing the road. The original part of the house is constructed of flint with brick dressings, and has a red pantiled roof. The south front has two three-light casement windows on the ground and first floors. A boarded door is located at the west end. A blocked brick mullion window is visible on the first floor. The brickwork includes dressings around the openings, an extra brick course at the eaves, and brick quoins. An east-facing gable has a parapet, and there are two end stacks. A two-bay, three-story wing with a brick and pantiled roof was added in the late 19th century, creating an ā€œLā€ shaped plan with the original house. A brick entrance tower forms the junction between the two parts of the building.
