Description
This barn, located 25 metres east-south-east of Tudor Lodgings, is likely a former dwelling dating from the 16th century and later. It is constructed from coursed flint with keyed brick dressings and has a pantile roof. The building has a rectangular plan and features a single-storey lean-to on the north gable end. It is one storey high, and the lower courses of a former window reveal indicate that the building has been lowered from its original storeyed form. There is one window and two doorways on the west side, as well as one doorway on the east side. The shallow roof is from the 18th or 19th century. Inside, there are two niches in the south wall with four-centred arches. This barn is included in the listing for its group value.
