Description

Burnham Cottage, located at No. 85 in Burnham Market, is a house that dates back to the 18th century. Originally a service wing to Burnham House, it is now in separate occupation. The cottage features a facade made of gault brick, which covers an earlier structure, and has a smut pantiled roof. It has two ground floor and two first floor sash windows with glazing bars. The eaves are coped with a steeply pitched roof that includes one axial stack. To the east, there is a carriage arch made of brick with flint spandrels, and a bracket lamp is positioned above it.
