Description

The Cage is a building from the early to mid 19th century, constructed of flint with brick dressings and a red pantiled roof. It is a single-storey structure that is rectangular in shape. The west gable features a boarded door with metal hinges and an original closing bar with a padlock. There are brick quoins around the door and at the building's angles. This structure is included in the register for its historical interest.
