Description
The Forge is a building from the late 18th century, constructed of flint rubble with brick dressings and a pantiled roof featuring weatherboarded gable ends. It is a single-storey structure with fixed casement windows on the left side and both gable ends. There is a stable-style door located to the left of the centre, along with a shuttered window to the right and another on the right-hand return front. At the rear, there is a stack that serves an interior furnace, which is enclosed by a pentice.
