Description
Dove Cottage is a house that dates back to the 17th century, with extensions added in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from flint rubble and features brick angle quoins, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is positioned at right angles to the street. The original part of the house is two storeys high, with an end stack facing the street and another stack on the right side. There are two windows on the first floor and three windows on the ground floor. The entrance door is located to the right of centre, sheltered by a pentice porch. To the right, there is a one-bay extension that encloses the stack and includes one window on each floor. At the rear right, there is a wing that is now facing the street, which has one ground floor window and a door beneath a gable hood supported by braces, along with a weatherboard pentice on the right end.
