Description

The sundial gnomon located on the south-western lawn at Headley Court dates from the late 19th century or early 20th century. It is a large cast iron sundial gnomon designed for use in a lawn or border setting. At the time of inspection, the gnomon was significantly overgrown by hedging, with the sundial numerals incorporated into the hedging.
