Description
The former swimming pool in the north garden at RAF Headley Court dates from the early 20th century. It features a large circular pool with rectangular and semi-circular extensions. The concrete basin is topped by a header brick wall that stands approximately 2 feet high. In the southernmost semi-circle of the pool, there is a classical stone fountain, which consists of consoles supporting four dolphins entwined around an ornate vase. The central duck island was added in the late 20th century and is not of historic interest.
