Description
The flower trough, located to the right of the main entrance at RAF Headley Court, is designed in the form of a classical sarcophagus and dates from the late 19th century. It is made of stone and features bas-relief carvings at each end, showing a lion attacking a horse. The front of the trough is fluted and has pilasters at the corners, along with a central bas-relief panel that depicts masks and drapery.
