Description
The Old House is a cottage with origins dating back to the 17th century. It was extended to the left in the 1920s and 1930s, with further extensions added to the right in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame of the close stud type with brick infilling, while the left side has a 20th-century imitation frame and the right side is entirely brick. The roofs are plain tiled, hipped to the left. The cottage is two storeys high and has an end stack on the right. On the first floor, there are two windows with metal casements. The ground floor has three windows on the right, along with two leaded casement windows beneath a pentice. To the left of the centre, there is a half-glazed door. A wing extends to the rear of the building.
