Description
Slough Farm House is a possible hall house dating from the 16th century, with later extensions from the 16th century and additions from the 20th century. The building is timber framed, set on a brick plinth, with brick infill to the exposed frame, and features a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the right. It has one storey and attics, with two penticed, 3-light dormers. There is an end stack to the right and a front stack to the left. The house consists of four framed bays, with arched bracing visible on the first floor. On the ground floor to the right, there are two 20th-century windows. A hipped single-storey extension projects to the left and includes two windows, one of which is a square bay. Glazed doors are located to the left of centre on the original range, and the main entrance is now situated in the right-hand return front porch recess.
