Description
Manor House is a house built in 1914 by Sir Guy Dawber. It is constructed of red brick with painted boarding on the angle bays and features hipped plain tiled roofs with wooden modillioned eaves cornice. The building has two storeys and attics, displaying a symmetrical elevation in the Neo-Georgian style. There is one flat-roofed dormer at each end and shallow projecting wings. The central dormer has a segmental pediment. The angle bays at the ends of the wings are boarded and each face has sash windows with 12-pane glazing, set in architrave surrounds with keystones above. The central range has three first-floor windows and two ground-floor windows, the latter under segmental heads. A central panelled door is topped by a modillioned, pedimented Doric porch. The wings are set back at the ends.
