DOCKING CHEQUERS STREET(south) Former gateway to Docking Hall, 10 metres to west of Gardener's Cottage.

Gateway. Mid-C18. Stone ashlar. Single storey with pediment. Palladian style. Chamfered rustication forming piers, Greek key pattern flat capitals supporting keyed arch with central raised keystones. Projecting Doric cornice above with simplified pediment gable roof. Simple boarded gate. Gateway from Docking Hall (q.v.) to family entrance to parish church. Walls attached to east and west and Gardener's Cottage are not of special interest.
