Description
12 and 14 Sea Lane are two cottages dating from the 17th century, constructed from whitewashed carstone, natural carstone, and red and white clunch, topped with a red pantiled roof. No. 12, located to the south, features two ground floor three-light casements with brick dressings and wooden lintels, along with a central 20th-century part glazed door. The first floor has two two-light casements with a single glazing bar. No. 14, to the north, has two ground floor and two first floor two-light casements with glazing bars, and an off-centre 20th-century part glazed door. Both cottages have brick dressings, eaves, and quoins, and are topped with a steeply pitched roof that includes an axial stack and two end gable stacks.
