Description

20 and 21 are two cottages dating from the 17th or 18th century. They are built from coursed limestone rubble with brick coped gables, a thatched roof, and brick ridge and end stacks. The cottages are one storey with an attic and each has two bays. No. 21 features a central 20th-century door in a 20th-century open porch, flanked by three-light gudgeon-hung iron-framed casement windows, with eyebrow dormers above. It has wooden lintels. No. 20 is similar but has two-light 20th-century small-paned casements. The rear elevation facing the street has a scattering of single-light openings with wooden lintels. The interiors have not been inspected.
