Description

No. 22 is a cottage located in Grafton Underwood, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with brick gable end stacks. An addition to the north has a slate roof. The building is one storey with an attic.

On the ground floor, there is a single light window, two 2-light 20th-century windows that were originally doors, all beneath a single wooden lintel, and a 20th-century door also with a wooden lintel. The attic includes two eyebrow dormers, with two lights on the left and one light on the right, featuring gudgeon-hung iron-framed casements. The addition to the right, which was likely an original outbuilding, has a 20th-century door and a single-light window beneath a wooden lintel, as well as a single light window in a blocked doorway. Above, there is a 2-light iron-framed gudgeon-hung casement window. The interior has not been inspected.
