Description
The pair of attached barns at Moregrove Farm date from the 18th century and are constructed of brick with a thatched roof. The western barn features central double full-height timber doors on the north side, with one slit ventilation light on either side. It has a gabled roof with tumbling in the west gable head and includes a stabling outshut built to the south. The roof structure consists of tie beams on knuckle braces, with two tiers of butt purlins and collars. Both barns share a common gable. The eastern barn is accessed from the north through full-height double timber doors positioned to the right of centre, flanked by two stepped buttresses on the left. Between these buttresses is a rectangular honeycomb ventilation panel. The south side of the eastern barn features an opposing gabled transept entrance with double timber doors and tumbling in the gable head. Moregrove farmhouse is not listed.
