Description
The barn adjoining Heggatt Hall to the west is a structure that dates from the 18th century, although it has an earlier core. It is constructed from brick and flint and features a pantiled roof. The barn is a three-steaded building that has been extended to the north, with a continuous outshut to the west. The east elevation is made of flint and includes 19th-century windows and doors that have been inserted. The northern end is built of brick and has honeycomb vents in the north gable wall, along with a platband at the eaves level. The south gable features brick lumbling and parapet verges. The outshut is not considered of special interest. This barn serves as a boundary for the courtyard and is included for its group value.
