Description

The barn immediately north of Hall Farm House dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a pantile roof with a shallow pitch. The gables suggest the line of an earlier, steeper roof. The barn features parapet gables with tumbling-in and large double doors on the south side, along with a catslide lean-to on the north. There are brick honeycomb vents, and the roof includes tie beams on timber knees, which have been largely renewed. Additionally, there is a lower hipped range with dentil brick eaves at the east gable. This building is included for its group value.
