Description
Holly Lodge is a house dating from the 18th century, which has been altered and extended in the 20th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and render, with a black pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high and includes a north wing, a 20th-century cross wing to the west, flat-roofed extensions to the north, and a large, pyramid-roofed extension to the east. The original facade faces south, presenting three windows with a central entrance. This entrance has a part-glazed door within a doorcase featuring panelled pilasters and consoles supporting a projecting cornice. Sash windows are fitted with glazing bars. The building has brick dentil eaves and axial stacks. Three roof lights are present, along with 20th-century extensions which do not contribute to the group value of the building.
