Description
This is a limekiln located about 140 meters east-northeast of the Railway Public House in Coltishall, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It features a random flint rubble exterior with a brick-lined interior. The structure is circular in shape and has a two-centred annular barrel vault made of brick surrounding a central brick stack, which includes four segmentally arched chutes. The entrance, also barrel-vaulted and constructed from brick, is two-centred. The limekiln is currently disused and is situated on the south side of a quarry.
