Description
The Beeches is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of stuccoed brick and topped with a slate roof. It has two storeys and features a rear two-storey outshut and a 20th-century extension, creating an 'L' shaped layout. The facade consists of three bays, which are separated by storey-height pilasters with capitals. A central timber porch sits on a rendered base and includes a central door flanked by sidelights, with pilasters that support an entablature. The entrance features a four-panel door topped by a semi-circular fanlight with radial glazing bars. A cornice is raised to create a broken pediment above the door. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. The eaves are finished with a stucco parapet and a simple cornice, which is raised in the center to form a rough, shallow pediment. The roof is hipped, and there is an internal stack at the rear.
