Farmhouse. Originally hall house, now divided into 2 properties. C16 with C20 alterations. Timber framed with rendered wattle and daub infill and roof of pantiles, black glazed to front. 2 storeys and attic. C20 brick front with parapet and central and corner pilasters. Gabled roof, hipped to west and central ridge stack. Remainder of exterior much altered. 2 doorways in west front and scattered fenestration. the door to right leading into original screens passage. 2 hollow mullioned windows to east of north range. Interior framework close studded of heavy scantling. 2 arched doorways, now blocked from screens passage. 4-light hollow mullioned window looking north from lounge into new room. Remains of 2 further mullioned windows. Tongue stopped bridging beams and raised ceilings. Tension bracing at corners in first floor rooms.
