Description

A.A. Clarke (Butcher) is a house and shop built around 1840. It is constructed of gault brick and has a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays. There is a central door that is sheltered by a hood, with a 20th-century shop front to the left. The remaining four windows on the facade are sash windows with glazing bars, set under gauged skewback arches. The roof is hipped and has two symmetrical stacks. The return walls are made of red brick.
