Description

The Limes is a house, now operating as a restaurant, dating back to the 18th century with significant alterations in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a roof of black glazed pantiles. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and it has three bays. A flat-roofed porch, added in the early 20th century, is located centrally. The windows are tripartite sashes from the 20th century, with those on the ground floor set beneath gauged skewback arches. A console bracket eaves cornice and a gabled roof with a ridge stack above the front door conclude the facade.
