Description

Nelson House is an early 19th-century brick house located on the north side of Church Street in Kenninghall. It features a black glazed pantiled roof and is two storeys tall with three bays. The central entrance has a panelled door that is sheltered by a semi-circular hood supported by timber Doric columns and pilasters. The house has sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath gauged skewback arches. A moulded timber eaves cornice with dentils runs along the top, beneath a gabled roof that includes internal gabled stacks.
