Description
Nos. 12-18 on Grove Lane is a late 18th-century terrace of four houses. The building is constructed of flint and brick, featuring gault brick dressings, with some brick made from fused kiln lining-brick. It has a pantile roof and stands two storeys high with a symmetrical facade divided into four wide bays. The ground floor includes four late 20th-century plank doors and four early 20th-century two-light casements, all set beneath segmental heads. The first floor has four two-light casements. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top, and the roof is bell-based with gabled ends, featuring an internal gable-end stack on both the right and left, as well as a ridge stack located left of centre. There are two-storey rear extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
