Description
Nos. 6, 8, and 10 on Grove Lane are three houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from flint and brick, including some fused kiln lining-brick, with gault brick dressings and a pantiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high and feature an irregular bay system. The ground floor has three late 20th-century plank doors and three early 20th-century two-light casement windows, all set under segmental heads. The first floor has four early 20th-century two-light casements. A dentil eaves cornice in red brick runs along the top. The roof is gabled, with internal gable-end stacks and a ridge stack located to the left of centre. The rear of the houses has late 20th-century brick extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
