Description
No. 37 Bury Road is a house, now functioning as a veterinary surgery, built around 1830 to 1840. It is constructed from galleted flint with gault brick dressings and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The central entrance has a 20th-century door beneath a plain three-vaned fanlight. There are 6/6 sash windows on either side of the door, and on the first floor, there are two similar sash windows separated by a blind window. The building is topped with a dentil eaves cornice and has a gabled roof. At the rear, there is a very deep contemporary outshut that runs under a continuous roof slope. The interior has not been inspected.
