Description

A group of five table tombs, dating from 1771 to 1860, is located immediately southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mary the Less in Thetford. These tombs are constructed with stone slabs laid over a brick core and feature a rectangular shape with baluster or fluted corners and slab tops. The tombs primarily commemorate members of the Bidwell and Sterne families.
