Description

This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located about 30 metres north of Little Heath Farm along the Great North Road. It is made of square Portland stone and stands approximately 1 metre high. The top of the milestone is shaped like a shallow pyramid. On the side facing the road, it has the inscription "XV MILES FROM LONDON."
