Description
The farmhouse at Barber's Lodge Farm is a building that dates from the 16th century, with early 17th-century and early to mid-19th-century alterations. It features a timber frame, with the right side stuccoed and the left extension made of yellow gault brick. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The structure is a three-unit range situated on a slight slope and consists of two storeys. The central part of the farmhouse is a gabled cross wing from the early 17th century, which has a large red brick chimney stack on the right side. The lower right section of the building is from the 16th century, showcasing a first-floor with two-light and ground-floor with three-light glazing-bar casements. The cross wing includes 19th and 20th-century windows. There are extensions that feature one door and one window facing the farmyard.
